Roles and Responsibilities
Material Flow Management: Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and delivery KPIs.Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system, ensuring proper stock levels to support production schedules. Support physical inventory control and audits.ERP System Utilization: Use the ERP system to track material movements, generate reports, and identify potential shortages or delays. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Product Information Manager (PIM) within the ERP system.Process Optimization and Standard Work: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in material and process flows. Develop and adhere to standard work procedures for material planning and execution tasks.Delivery Assurance: Support production schedules by ensuring materials are available on time, promoting timely delivery of finished products to customers.Problem Solving and Resolution: Apply lean problem-solving principles to address material-related issues promptly, working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements in all material handling and planning activities.Communication: Provide regular updates to the production leader and other stakeholders regarding material status and potential risks to delivery timelines.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or a related field).Desired Characteristics
Additive Manufacturing: Familiarity with development and production of additive manufacturing equipmentSupply Chain Management: Familiarity with supply chain operations, ERP systems, and materials management.Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies.Lean Knowledge: Basic understanding of lean principles, such as waste reduction, continuous improvement, standard work, and visual management.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
