Job Summary：
The Material Planner is an active member of the Field Purchasing team that manages the local purchase suppliers\u2019 direct procurement (local purchases not through Oracle R12) for the Trane Supply Parts Stores.\u00A0\u00A0

Responsibilities:\u00A0

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Sourcing - Obtain supplier quotes per customer needs.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Local parts life cycle - Manage local purchase parts set up in P21.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Purchasing - Manage purchase orders to procure material according to purchasing requests from the Trane Parts Stores. This involves daily contact with the stores, as well as managing POs and resolving PO issues with suppliers/stores/retail planning team, to ensure parts availability and delivery.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Effectively communicate with the field and with suppliers regarding purchasing requests and orders.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Maintain supplier and part data accuracy in systems, including part and supplier setup where needed.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Work with other cross functional teams on projects and/or other tasks to drive improvement when needed.

Qualifications:

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Bachelor\u2019s Degree preferred and\u00A01 year of relevant purchasing, sourcing or equivalent experience OR 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Good PC skills and knowledge of MS Office applications required.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Must be action-oriented and organized to handle large volume of tasks in a fast pace environment.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
