Trane Technologies is hiring a Materials Management Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Vidalia, GA. The Materials Supervisor is responsible for providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and material movement, and supervising staff.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Achieve warehouse operational objectives through the contribution of warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
+ Meet warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
+ Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, and creates processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
+ Continuous development, implementation, enforcement, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
+ Create warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
+ Establish warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout, and implementing changes.
+ Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of related experience required in lieu of degree.
+ Must have experience in the integrated functions of manufacturing
+ Experience with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments.
+ Experience in operations, inventory management, visual management systems, Microsoft Office products, inventory control/shipping software, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
+ Experience operating warehouse equipment

Base Pay Range: $51,000 - $88,000
