**Contract to hire**
**Middlesex County NJ**
**Pay:** $28-31/hr
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Handle core warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory cycle counts, ordering shipping supplies, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining overall cleanliness—all in accordance with departmental timelines and regulatory standards.
+ Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality, and safety requirements during all warehouse activities.
+ Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documentation; complete related paperwork and system transactions.
+ Stage or deliver received items to designated personnel or departments and notify appropriate requesters upon arrival.
+ Inspect incoming shipments for damage, quantity discrepancies, and quality issues; document findings and report them to supervising personnel.
+ Collaborate with the purchasing team to resolve shipment discrepancies.
+ Prepare outgoing shipments, complete all required documentation, and coordinate with third-party carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx) for timely pickups and deliveries.
+ Provide tracking numbers and delivery updates to internal teams as needed.
+ Support inventory control by receiving, assigning storage locations, issuing materials, and weighing/dispensing raw materials when required.
+ Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management (electronic and/or paper-based).
+ Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently; complete daily equipment checklists and coordinate maintenance as needed.
+ Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure streamlined warehouse operations.
+ Participate in warehouse process improvements and stay informed on standard operating procedures.
+ Adhere to all applicable regulatory standards (cGMP, DEA, safety regulations).
+ Take part in daily/weekly cleaning and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned in support of warehouse and organizational goals.
+ Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
**Education & Experience:**
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ 2–3 years of warehouse experience in the pharmaceutical industry required
**Required Skills:**
+ Strong time management and task prioritization skills
+ Working knowledge of cGMP, DEA, and safety regulations
+ Effective verbal and written communication in English
+ Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
+ Ownership mindset with a proactive attitude toward efficiency and improvement
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications
+ Flexible schedule; willing to work varied hours as needed
+ Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
