Material Inspector 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the materials industry, is seeking a Material Inspector to join their team. As a Material Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Material Inspector 1st Shift
**Location:** Littleton, NH
**Pay Range:** $20-$23/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect incoming materials and production parts to ensure conformance with specifications.
+ Read and understand product drawings and specifications, including GD&T symbols.
+ Perform first-piece inspections on newly produced items.
+ Examine materials for surface defects and maintain detailed data records.
+ Utilize enterprise software to pull relevant files and create Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
**What's Needed?**
+ 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
+ Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person.
+ Strong mathematical skills, including fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions.
