As a Material Handler II, you will play a meaningful role in ensuring our operations run efficiently by handling the movement, storage, and distribution of critical materials. Your contributions will directly support life-saving research, medical advancements, and product advancement.
**A Day in the Life**
As a Material Handler II, you will:
+ Receive & Inspect Shipments – Verify incoming materials against packing slips, inspect for accuracy and quality, and report discrepancies.
+ Coordinate & Store Inventory – Ensure materials are accurately labeled, stored, and maintained in designated locations to optimize warehouse efficiency.
+ Order Fulfillment & Staging – Accurately pick, stage, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments.
+ Shipping & Distribution – Pack, label, and document shipments, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
+ Operate Equipment – Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move products.
+ Inventory Management – Conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
+ Safety & Compliance – Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
+ Process Improvement – Discover opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Collaborate & Communicate – Work cross-functionally with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ High school diploma and or equivalent experience.
+ 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
+ Experience with inventory management systems (SAP, WMS, or similar preferred).
+ Forklift and material handling equipment certification or commitment to possess.
+ Basic computer app and spread sheets skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in a cold chain or regulated environment.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.
+ Familiarity with ISO 13485 and GMP compliance

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $17.29–$28.81.
