How Will You Make an Impact?:

The Material Handler I supports operations by unloading, sorting, verifying receipts and storing materials withing the 2-8C cold room or ambient temperature locations. The position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, assisting outbound pick and pack operations, and ensuring accurate inventory across the site.

A Day in the Life:

Receiving, Sorting and Stocking picking and overflow locations throughout the warehouseAssisting the outbound team with pick and pack operationsMaintain accurate inventory through receipts, adjustments, and cycle countsUncrating instruments received and preparing for distribution

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:Preferred: Experience in a FDA regulated distribution/warehouse environmentRequired: Experience with forklifts, walkie stackers and pallet jacksRequired: 1-2 years experience picking, packing, sorting and receiving high volume of materials

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other similar equipmentEffective interpersonal and communication skillsAble to work independently and set priorities

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Able to handle chemicals, including hazardous materialsFrequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs with assistanceMust be available to work overtime, including weekends to support department as necessary
