**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to recondition heat exchange plates by removing old rubber gaskets, cleaning, testing for defects, and preparing them for shipment. **Responsibilities** + Recondition heat exchange plates. + Remove old rubber gaskets manually or by using liquid nitrogen. + Clean plates using power washing techniques. + Test plates for cracks or holes using a special material and black light. + Wash and dry plates after testing. + Glue new gaskets onto plates and transfer them into an oven for adherence. + Cool and package plates for shipment. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of manufacturing or production experience. + Attention to detail. + Ability to work effectively in a team. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Self-motivation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand tools, assembly, and packaging. + Familiarity with forklift operations. + Cleaning and material handling skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a small team environment where advancement opportunities are plentiful. Work hours are from 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts. The dress code includes steel-toed boots and jeans, with safety glasses and gloves provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ankeny, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
