Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
Join our dynamic team in a role that supports the manufacturing of ergonomic ladders designed for fleet vehicle safety. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the warehouse and shipping/receiving department, ensuring the smooth movement of products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
Move products around the warehouse and shipping/receiving department using sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.Keep production areas stocked and move finished products for shipping preparation.Perform order picking of smaller parts using paper pick sheets, with a transition to RF Scanners in progress.Create shipping Bills of Lading (BOLs) and coordinate with carriers for LTL/Truck loads.In the receiving area, unload truckloads of material, organize and tag materials appropriately, and assist machine operators with material supply.In the warehouse by the assembly department, receive and execute pick sheets, utilize forklifts for pallet handling, and assist in building and delivering pallets to the assembly area.Support the shipping department as needed and perform cycle counts during downtime.Essential Skills
Experience in material handling and order picking.Proficiency in operating forklifts (both stand-up and sit-down).Experience in shipping and receiving operations.Computer proficiency for inventory and order tracking.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
