Job Description

As a Material Stock Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of materials within our dynamic and modern facility.

Responsibilities

Unload deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and communicate any issues to Quality and Purchasing.Actively enter receiving transactions into the ERP system and ensure materials are properly labeled and barcoded.Support the put-away of materials into correct storage locations and maintain accurate records of incoming shipments.Ensure receiving paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly routed, and communicate with Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics on delivery status or issues.Assist in daily cycle counts and reconciliation activities, ensuring all transactions match physical material flow.Support the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies and follow all company safety policies and procedures for material handling.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving dock and staging areas.

Essential Skills

Ability to use an ERP system and carefully track and document material flow.Experience inspecting incoming shipments and coordinating the shipping of large freight pieces.Proficiency in operating a forklift.Experience in inventory control.Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.1+ years of experience in warehouses, receiving, or material handling in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred.Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.Forklift experience required.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work in a modern facility located in Mesa, Arizona, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm. Enjoy 10 hours of holiday pay on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The role requires physical activity, including lifting and moving up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, and using a portable ladder. Personal Protection Equipment is required, and good manual dexterity and coordination are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
