Material Handler

Summary: Seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift to manage shipping, receiving, and delivery processes in a warehouse setting.

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 pounds Read and follow English language instructions Use handheld scanner Meet pulling rate of 500 books per hour

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience with UPS World Ship software Able to use small tools consistent with shipping process Accuracy in labeling

Responsibilities:

Manage shipping, receiving, and delivery processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness Learn and utilize material management systems and tools effectively Coordinate delivery methods with suppliers and customers to optimize logistics Seek out opportunities for process improvements to enhance on-time delivery performance Operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately adhering to established protocols Maintain a safe and organized work environment including proper handling of equipment and materials

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.25 per hour
