Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** Join our team as a Material Handler, where you will be responsible for receiving and processing packages delivered through UPS, FedEx, and Amazon. You will manage pallets, store materials, and label parts accurately. This role supports manufacturing by handling raw materials and preparing shipments to our manufacturing headquarters. Additionally, you will manage instrument shipping globally, package and label goods, and handle interdepartmental transfers. **Responsibilities** + Receive and process packages delivered through major carriers. + Break down and remove pallets, store materials, and label parts accurately. + Conduct cycle counts once or twice a week. + Communicate effectively via email and Outlook. + Utilize an ERP system, specifically NetSuite, for inventory management. + Support manufacturing by receiving and preparing raw materials for shipment. + Package and label goods for global instrument shipping. + Handle interdepartmental transfers and shipping duties. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in shipping and receiving tasks. + Experience with inventory control and ERP systems. + Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks. + Strong counting and data entry skills with attention to accuracy. + Flexibility to take on new tasks as needed. + Experience with cold chain logistics is a plus. + Ability to work with numbers and perform accurate cycle counts. + Experience with dry ice and cold room environments. **Why Work Here?** This company offers significant growth potential and is a promising place for a long-term career. While weekend work is currently not required, it may be necessary for inventory audits, particularly mandatory on January 2nd and 3rd, 2026. The work environment includes cold storage areas with temperatures reaching minus 20 degrees. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
