Material Handler
**Job Title:** Material Handler (1st shift) **Location:** Newbury Park, CA **Pay Range:** $20 **Shift: 1st shift (5:30am** - **2:00pm) Monday - Friday** **What's the Job?** **Essential Functions:** + Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory in Oracle. + Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on move orders and pick slips, delivers, and completes appropriate transaction in Oracle + Receives return material and supplies from production, verifies item number, lot number and quantity; places materials in stock and completes appropriate Oracle transactions + Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing product by following operating procedures and work instructions + Maintains material-handling equipment such as scales by completing pre-use inspections + Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed + Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary + Assist others to provide an organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures + Participation in and implementation of continuous improvement projects + Safely and efficiently meeting all requirements assigned to you by following operating procedures and work instructions, in accordance with the company’s ISO 9001:2015 procedures + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED required + Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred + Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as a team + Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as, comprehend verbal instructions and effectively communicate verbally + Computer familiarity, data entry skills + Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed + Consistent and punctual attendance required.
