BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR ROTATING NIGHT SHIFTS, 7:00 P.M TO 7:00 A.M. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off) candidate will train on day shift.
Starting Pay Rate is $22.03per hour and top out at $26.40 at 9 months (plus 1.00 shift differential)

JOB SUMMARY
Works under general supervision, running reclaim for aluminum oxide. Orders new grit as required. Loads skid for shipment. Supplies blasting units with required grit.
Will also move casting to and from work stations and departments by following verbal and written instructions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supplies Grit to blasting units. Moves casting to and from work stationsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures reclaim unit is working properly and performs general preventive maintenance as required.
2. Keeps used grit away from each unit.
3. Keeps pressure tanks full to working level.
4. Perform heavy housekeeping and other duties as required.
5. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
6. Maintains safe work habits.
7. Moves castings to and from work stations in a timely manner and moves castings out of department as indicated on routing cards.
8. Assists operator in the transfer of inventory to and from transport vehicle as required.
9. Responsible to ensure wheels on all trucks are in excellent condition to prevent any handling damage or parts touching. If wheels are damaged, they are to be taken to the Maintenance Department to be replaced by the Material Handler.
10. Inform area supervisor of any rough areas on the floor that could cause parts to touch that would create handling damage.

• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). (Must wear protective clothing, metatarsal safety shoes, leather apron, arm sleeves, safety glasses, face shield, ear protection and gloves).

• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.
