Volt is immediately hiring a Temp to Hire Material Handler in Corona CA.
As a Material Handler you will:
Prepare and package customer orders per requirements: Palletize, wrap, and label shipments Create packing lists and carrier documentation (FedEx/UPS) Finalize packaging into shipping cartons Handle internal shipments to satellite facilities: Safely consolidate and transport materials Fulfill manufacturing requests: Pull and verify materials/kits Communication shortages Monitor inventory and prevent stockouts Maintain accurate records in QAD system Perform cycle counts and receive supplier inventory Locate and verify materials for production ordersThis is a full-time opportunity.
Monday to Friday 10pm - 6:30 am will train one month 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education Must have Forklift experience in sit down and stand up. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Lifting more than 60 pounds occasionally subject to standing/walking and using hands to finger or handle/touch with constant exposure to static standing/sitting.
Pay Rate: $20.51 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
