Material Handler

Location: Perth, Ontario

Job Type: Contract, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Description: Join a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse team where your attention to detail and reliability make a real impact. As a Material Handler, you’ll play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth operations across departments.

Responsibilities

Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity, and correctness.Accurately pick and process outbound orders.Move and pick up material from other departments.Complete all necessary paperwork.Conduct inventory cycle counts.Perform replenishment tasks.Assist with error investigation and resolution processes related to inventory balance on hand and receiving errors.Utilize computer programs to obtain required information and update database information.Perform other related duties as assigned in the warehouse or elsewhere.

Essential Skills

1 year experience in warehouse/inventory control role.Experience with picking, kitting, order, and cycle counts.Forklift experience (certification not required).RF scanner picking experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of Lean principles.Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.Ability to work efficiently as a team member.Strong work ethic.Ability to grasp new tasks and concepts quickly.Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as required.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM and involves standing, moving, and lifting for most of the shift.
