**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
The material handler will perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control duties in the warehouse. This role involves preparing documents for shipping, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare documents and instructions to coordinate the shipping and freighting of pumps, cartridges, and materials.
+ Pack and prepare company products for shipping according to customer requests.
+ Maintain records of orders shipped, documenting weights and shipping charges.
+ Ensure documentation complies with governmental and regulatory agencies requirements.
+ Schedule and coordinate shipment deadlines with Customer Service to ensure timely arrivals.
+ Maintain computerized shipping systems and equipment such as scales, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
+ Receive incoming materials, services, and supplies by checking goods against purchase orders.
+ Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
+ Transfer approved materials to their proper stockroom locations or deliver packages internally.
+ Coordinate incoming shipments of goods authorized for return with Customer Service and Quality Control.
+ Receive products from quarantine and production into finished goods, verifying accuracy against shop orders.
+ Examine stocks and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
+ Perform daily cycle counts and ensure 100% accuracy of all finished goods inventory.
+ Perform daily inventory data transactions and provide feedback to inventory inquiries.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in data entry with ERP systems.
+ Experience in an FDA regulated environment.
+ Ability to use pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated shipping equipment.
+ Good oral and written communication skills.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Good interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated word processing and data entry skills.
+ Familiarity with GMP environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory CA driving record.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

**Work Environment**

Communication primarily occurs via email, with timely responses expected during work hours. The role involves working shifts from Tuesday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
