Responsible for transporting raw materials (rolls), work in process(WIP) and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production, load and unload rolls from transport trucks

Loads finished goods onto transport trucksMove WIP from cutters/presses and locate in racks Unload WIP from transport trucks and unload rolls of board from trucks and locate in the warehouse computer system Move WIP from racks to gluers Check work conditions and safety of forklift and clamp truck equipment daily before use Perform various other tasks as assigned

What you need to succeed:GED/High School diploma requiredMust have a minimum of two (2) years material handling in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read general information or short instructions such as lists, notes, or labelsAbility to write in order to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructionsAbility to perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionAbility to carry out tasks which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order – the problems are routine and easy to recognizeAbility to make decisions that are short-range and usually affect only a small group or work teamAbility to complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional directionsAbility to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures following established patterns
