PDS Tech Commercial, a Military Friendly® Employer is hiring Material Handler to support operations at a leading industrial facility. This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for individuals with carpentry skills, forklift experience, and a strong work ethic.
Position Summary
As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for material handling, packing, and building custom skids and pallets. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload materials using forklifts, hand trucks, and hoists
Build skids and pallets using carpentry tools and shop saws
Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
Pack orders for assembly lines and prepare for shipping
Use hand tools, banders, and measuring devices
Operate powered industrial trucks and hand scanners
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (steel toe shoes with metatarsal guards, safety glasses, ear plugs)
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
0–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience
Carpentry skills and ability to use shop tools
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tapes
Forklift experience
Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn scanning systems
Must pass prescreening by operational manager

Pay Rate: $18/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday, 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Bonus Program – Earn up to $3,000:
$1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance
$1,000 at 60 days
$1,000 at 90 days (must have received 14-day bonus)

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
