We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aMaterial Handlerto join a leading Company located in thePerris, CAsurrounding area. Pay Rate: $22 Responsibilities : + Use pick tickets to pull customer orders + Some orders involve full pallets; others require picking and stacking multiple individual bags to build a pallet — these take longer and require close attention to detail + Wrap completed pallets of animal feed using a stretch wrapper + Stage pallets in designated areas + Load pallets onto trucks, paying attention to weight distribution and order accuracy + Assist with end-of-shift truck loading and warehouse cleaning + This is not a full-time forklift position + Candidates must be willing and able to do hands-on warehouse work in addition to forklift operation Basic Hiring Criteria : + High school diploma or equivalent + Minimum 5 to 8 years of sit-down forklift experience + Must have prior experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment Desired Qualifications : + Must be a team player — no competition, no ego + Everyone on the shift is treated as an equal and works together + Strong culture of mutual respect and cooperation + Detail-oriented to avoid picking errors + Reliable and willing to work until the job is done + Comfortable with both forklift and manual labor + Able to learn product types quickly Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
