**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team on a 3rd shift from 5am to 5:30pm, Friday to Sunday, or a 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2:30pm. This role involves operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks, as well as handling RF Scanners and working efficiently on both the Receiving and Shipping docks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks.
+ Maintain and operate RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer).
+ Select customer orders accurately and timely.
+ Complete work order sheets accurately.
+ Work on both Receiving and Shipping docks as needed.
+ Unload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation, notifying supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies.
+ Unload meat trucks, complete weighing and temperature reviews of each pallet, and document measurements, notifying Supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies.
+ Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use.
+ Distribute received items to the appropriate person or department.
+ Pick daily shipments, verify counts, wrap or stack pallets neatly for pick-ups, and mark accordingly to customer, transportation, and location of shipment.
+ Load finished goods onto trailers within specified timeframes.
+ Maintain accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse.
+ Safely operate Forklift, the person, and/or Strait Truck.
+ Follow daily production schedules and achieve specified goals.
+ Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
+ Clean and maintain warehouse floors and facilities as needed.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
+ Follow set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED, preferred
+ 1-3 months related manufacturing or food experience, preferred
+ Knowledge of warehouse and lift trucks
+ Basic knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, materials, and/or manufacturing
+ Knowledge of SAP
+ Excellent attendance and dependability
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Attention to detail

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying temperatures and noise levels. Employees may be exposed to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel, lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Travel may be required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.55 - $20.80/hr.
