**Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and monitor finished goods inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and efficient inventory transfer processes. **Responsibilities** + Transport finished goods inventory from manufacturing and receiving to warehouse locations for order fulfillment. + Monitor and segregate finished goods inventory placed on hold daily. + Facilitate transfer requests to and from offsite storage by generating reports through the ERP system. + Reconcile inventory discrepancies through investigation prompted by customer service inquiries and SFDC reports. + Monitor and account for inventory in temporary transit locations to ensure proper inventory transfer is completed. + Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in the company's products, parts, and services. + Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with all departments contacted in the course of work. + Interact with vendors and colleagues in manufacturing, production planning, customer service, and finance to reconcile inventory variances. + Support picking, packing, and shipping of material for order fulfillment using scanners or manual methods. + Process orders using the ERP system, UPS Worldship, and FedEx Ship Manager software. **Essential Skills** + Experience in materials/inventory control, preferably in a scientific or chemistry-based manufacturing environment. + Working computer literacy using ERP systems, spreadsheet, and word processing software. + Knowledge of storekeeping and inventory control procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with shipping and receiving processes. + Forklift operation skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that values accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration. There is a 0.5-hour paid break each day with a 5% shift differential. This is a contract position for at least two months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
