Material Handler
**Job Description** The selected candidate will work with task leads and within a team to meet material requirements in support of multiple projects and customers operating simultaneously. The selected candidate must be highly motivated, well-organized, and practice effective time management in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will have experience in material management /acquisition operations with working knowledge of inventory management systems, government property inventory audits, and purchasing. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the following: + Perform all facets of warehouse operations to include receiving, inventorying, storing, issuing, and shipping parts to meet project and government deliverables. + Conduct market research of part information to include pricing and lead times + Submit purchase requests + Research status of open orders + Work with vendors to reconcile orders and resolve discrepancies + Update Material Parts List (MPL) / Material Equipment list (MEL) This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** High School diploma and at least three years of experience Ability to interact and communicate well with others, problem-solve, and multi-task Basic computer skills with operational knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Associate degree **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $54220 - $86752 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
