**Job Description** The selected candidate will work with task leads and within a team to meet material requirements in support of multiple projects and customers operating simultaneously. The selected candidate must be highly motivated, well-organized, and practice effective time management in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will have experience in material management /acquisition operations with working knowledge of inventory management systems, government property inventory audits, and purchasing. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the following: + Perform all facets of warehouse operations to include receiving, inventorying, storing, issuing, and shipping parts to meet project and government deliverables. + Conduct market research of part information to include pricing and lead times + Submit purchase requests + Research status of open orders + Work with vendors to reconcile orders and resolve discrepancies + Update Material Parts List (MPL) / Material Equipment list (MEL) This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
