Our client, a leading player in the warehousing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Material Handler
**Location: Austin, Texas**
**Pay Range:** Competitive starting wage with profit-sharing opportunities
**What's the Job?**
+ Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
+ Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
+ Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
+ Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
+ Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety while assisting co-workers in servicing customers.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1 year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
+ Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
+ Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
