**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory and distribution processes. You will be responsible for using checklists to verify kit accuracy, accumulating and transporting orders, processing returns, maintaining inventory records, and preparing procurement requests. This role involves handling heavy items and operating a forklift, as well as examining, stocking, and distributing materials on manufacturing lines. **Responsibilities** + Use checklists to ensure kit accuracy while pulling items. + Accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to distribution points or staging areas. + Process returned items and manage unscheduled issues. + Compile and maintain inventory of materials received, stocked, and issued. + Prepare requests for the procurement of materials. + Lift heavy items and operate a forklift as needed. + Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. + Conduct inventory checks through cycle counting. + Audit kits for accuracy when required. **Essential Skills** + Material handling + Inventory management + Order picking + General labor + Pallet jack operation + Forklift operation + Cycle counting + Basic computer skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in basic math, verbal and written communication + Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal and documented instructions + Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving packages + Capability to frequently lift objects weighing 40-50 lbs + Teamwork and collaboration skills + Familiarity with warehouse activities, stocking, picking, kitting, and counting + Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jack, scale, wrapping, and strapping tools + Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested **Why Work Here?** This position offers a long-term opportunity in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
