Who knows where our shared journey will take you?  **Transform the everyday with us** The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. **We are looking for a Material Handler to join our fabrication team at Roebuck, SC.** **Shift Hours:** 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm **Hourly Rate:** $24.65 **You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + Must be at least 18yrs of age + Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment + Knowledge of sit down and stand-up industrial trucks + Knowledge on all the operations of the assembly/fabrication/process of the area + Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools + Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language + Ability to perform coordinated movements including reaching, grasping, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling/sliding heavy materials, and stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing as needed. + In this role, you must be able to meet the physical requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following: + Ability to complete a 1/4 mile walk within 7 minutes, lift weights up to 40 lbs., sustain kneeling & standing for up to 30 minutes and preform push & pull tasks with a least 87 lb. force. + Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization _._ **You'll make impact by:** + Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks. Must be licensed on sit down/standup industrial trucks + Enforce 5S, 7 wastes and other lean principles in the team/area + Conduct cycle counts as needed. + Responsible to accommodate requests of Busway and Fabrication personnel. + Read diagrams, spreadsheets for parts to ASC operation + Utilize SAP and WM data management program to look up parts + Perform other work as directed by Supervision. **About Siemens:** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
