Responsibilities

Material handlers are responsible for keeping products neatly packaged, wrapped/palletized and labeled correctly.

Ensure that all products are stored in the warehouse according to the customer specifications.

Responsible for keeping warehouse clean, neat and orderly ensuring that forklifts are properly maintained.

Responsible for placing product in designated rows in warehouse neatly and evenlySupply production area with needed raw materialsAssist in moving product into the print room when neededKnowledgeable in operating stretch wrap/shrink wrap machineEnsure labeling and packaging are correct prior to moving product into warehouseCommunicate with shipping and production supervisors dailyKnowledge of proper loading procedures to assist loaders when needed Qualifications Knowledge and skills to operate lift truck safelyKnowledge of proper packaging and placement in warehouseAbility to take direction and work well with othersKnowledge and use of proper PPE when required
