**Description** Seeking a self-motivated and efficient problem solver to perform the **Material Expeditor** role in North Charleston, SC. **Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):** + Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between warehouse and production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: compiles and interprets inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority. + Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, using mobile stair platform, handcart, pallet jack, or forklift. + Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, through use of computer and CMPRo database. + Prepares and ships material to customer locations. May examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts. Submits change requests in database when appropriate. **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience. + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). + Candidate must be a US Citizen. and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. **Desired Skills:** + Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. + Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism.
