Job DescriptionDevelop and improve rubber compounds with the focus on Power Transmission productsLeading of compound development projects and participation as a team member in other R&D projects as requiredSupport activities to reduce our compound complexityDemonstration and ensuring of the performance capability of newly developed compound concepts in the initial industrialization phaseDrive the ideation and development of new technologies and sustainable solutions for our next generation materials together with the relevant functions and network in R&DMaintain the interfaces with internal customers, internal labs, material and product industrialization etc.Support the creation and introduction of new processes and software applications

QualificationsUniversity Master degree (PhD preferred) in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Material Science or similarSeveral years of work experience in the rubber and plastics industry desirableBasic knowledge of rubber materials and related processing processesKnowledge of Drive Belt technology preferredAnalytical and scientific workstyleProject Management skills / experience beneficialSelf-driven and innovative team playerProactive and structured problem solving mind-set and willingness to learnTake Ownership and be a Driver for innovation to push for technology improvementGood knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareFluent English language skills, German language skills beneficial
