Material Coordinator V
**Job Description** 1. Must be able to interpret drawings, technical manuals and work specifications to process material requisitions for repairs on US Navy and Commercial ships. 2. Utilize the Material Estimate Bill of Material to identify and prioritize Requisitions for Long Lead Time Matls. 3. Accomplish requisitioning of material required to support the repairs and meet all scheduled Milestones. In order to apply time sensitive need dates for each requisition processed. 4. Review Material Estimate for any anomalies such as material type, size or cost for correctness, notify the Material Coordinator Supervisor of any issues with the estimate. 5. Frequent contact with material suppliers, craft personnel and purchasing depending on the issue. 6. Interface with Purchasing Department regarding delivery date, milestones, cost and supplier information. Provide any/all pricing information/quotes to the Buyers. 7. Assist Material Planning Estimators with information by interfacing with Trades for Conditions Found Reports with vague or missing material data as needed. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + The material coordinators will pull Specs, RCC S and review drawings for each reference pertaining to their perspective trade, to validate material in BOM before ordering. + The Material Coordinators will create requisitions from the bid in SREP for all LLTM first when avail is funded per material supervisor. + The Material Coordinators will create requisitions from the bid in SREP for all other material that is funded in each work items of the funded avail. + Before submitting a req, the Material Coordinators will create requisitions from the bid in SREP where most data will automatically load to the requisition but the Material Coordinator will insure the following information is on each requisition for each line: **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Knowledge of Computer Operations, Applications, Word Processing, and Spreadsheets + Awareness of Procurement Procedures, Operations, and Material Management + Analytical and Problem Solving Skills + Strong Attention to Detail + Solid Verbal and Written Communication Skills **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $74508 - $119213 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
