Job Description
As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing material requests and assisting others in assessing material requirements to support the business needs of Distribution, Transmission, or Generation. You will coordinate with Supply Chain Operations to stay informed on upcoming complex projects and maintain effective relationships with Expediting and Procurement to ensure the availability of materials for construction and maintenance activities.
ResponsibilitiesReview and assist in the evaluation of material requests to determine cost-effectiveness from suppliers or inventory.Monitor open material requests and purchase orders to identify materials needing expediting or alternative sourcing.Monitor daily inventory reports for exceptions.Train personnel on the Materials Management system as needed for supported facilities.Serve as a liaison for the central Materials Management team, providing feedback on inventory management strategies.Review Materials Management processes and recommend improvements.Monitor metrics and take corrective actions to ensure Supply Chain and Business Unit goals are met.Purchase emergent materials identified during the T-Week scheduling process at Cook Nuclear Plant only.Prepare reports on Procurement Engineering Receipt Inspection and material holds for Cook Nuclear Plant.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Procurement, or related field; or Associate's Degree with two years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED with four years of experience.Minimum two years of experience in Supply Chain or related business experience.Good oral and written communication skills.Availability 24/7 to assist with emergency material requirements.Experience with inventory management, ERP, and SAP.Additional Skills & QualificationsSAP Experience Preferred.Maximo Experience Preferred.Strong Excel Experience.Work Environment
The work environment is business casual with a team size of 10 members. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm. The role requires a sedentary physical demand level.

This is a Contract position based out of Pataskala, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr.
