Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Material Control Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The Material Control Specialist reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for ensuring supplier provided components are delivered for use in the production process. The position works under supervision, is involved in decision-making and has contact with external suppliers.

What You Will Be Doing 

Ensures accuracy of supplier promise datesEnsures supplier acknowledgement of Purchase OrdersResponsible for early reporting of potential supply disruptions in Daily Management MeetingsMeets with suppliers at a regular cadence to review late delivery recovery plansEscalates late deliveries to appropriate membersTrains suppliers in the use of commitment and acknowledgement processTracks late material from shipment through to issuance to productionCoordinate part transport to other departments for further modifications, use, or shippingReviews item status in the ERP system and ensures item is received/stocked appropriately based on its current statusMonitors supplier forecasts for increases/decreases that could have an impact on suppliers’ ability to support

What We Are Looking For 

High School Diploma required and/or Bachelor’s Degree2-5 years of experience in applicable manufacturing processes required in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
