Material Control/Shipping and Receiving Associate
Job Description We’re seeking an energized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Material Control / Receiving and Shipping Associate. You will help ensure accurate material flow for our aerospace manufacturing processes by receiving items, performing incoming inspections and quantity validations, coordinating shipping to and from vendors, and keeping the shop clean and organized to aerospace standards. This role is ideal for someone eager to start and grow a career in manufacturing. Key responsibilities Receive deliveries, verify documentation, part numbers, lot/batch information, and quantities; record discrepancies as needed Perform basic incoming inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards Enter and update data in material control systems (receipts, locations, lot numbers, usage, etc.) Prepare parts for outbound shipments; coordinate logistics with internal teams and external vendors Maintain 5S standards on the shop floor: cleanliness, labeling, organization, and accurate storage Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation as required Communicate clearly with suppliers, production teams, and quality to resolve issues Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and shop organization We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
