Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of two years of work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.  Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a shipping/receiving department in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Good oral and written communication skills. Must be flexible in a changing work environment and able to reorganize rapidly to changing priorities.

Material Control Processor – Thermatech

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Material Control Processor to join Plant 4, Thermatech in Whitehall, MI. The position will train on days and will transition to 3 - 12-hour shifts: 6:00AM to 6:00PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) OR 4 - 10-hour shifts: 6:30am – 4:30PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).

The Material Control Processor is a weekend position within Plant 4, Thermatech Coatings Operation and will be responsible for: 

Preparing shipping and receiving documentation for incoming and outgoing materials, including preparation of export control documentationReceipt of materialsOrder entryPreparing and maintaining hazardous waste manifest logPhysical inventory Learn and support key Shipping Department functions to serve as back up when requiredOther duties as assigned
