Volt is immediately hiring for Material Clerk/Stockroom/ Cycle Counter in Carson, CA. 

As a Material Clerk/Stockroom/ Cycle Counter you will:

Perform receiving tasks, inspect incoming parts, and stock items with proper labeling

Kit parts for production or order fulfillment from stockroom locations

Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies using the ERP system. 

Process parts issues, credits, and scrap transactions in the system. 

Package and ship items via FedEx/UPS, including using their standalone systems

Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to handle materials at various heights

Deliver materials to internal departments as needed

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Utilize barcode scanning equipment and measuring/counting scales

Perform basic data entry in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs

Execute other duties as assigned

 

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 6 am to 2:30 pm. 

 

The ideal candidate Material Clerk/Stockroom/ Cycle Counter will have:

Experience working with ERP systems

Ability to understand units of measure and perform basic math

Capable of using barcode scanners and weight/counting scales

Strong organizational and time management skills

Clear written and verbal communication

Familiarity with Bills of Materials and general logistics processes

Must be able to work with limited supervision and follow safety protocols

 

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
