Material Analyst
System One is working with a client to find a Material Analyst Role – Material Analyst: Lead material management activities and support operational needs for ONS/RPC by maintaining accurate inventory, issuing proper material, receiving material from projects and purchase orders, and supporting all needs from operations and supply chain groups. Additional activities would include Min/Max purchasing along with Punchout agreement purchasing . Responsibility: Inventory Expectations: + Support critical spare and inventory management process + Perform weekly cycle counts for ONS/RPC locations and enter results into ERP + Minimize the amount of overdue cycle count request and to actively work on zeroing out any overdue request + Receipting and issuing material for projects in Oracle + Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to operations + Maintaining organized warehouse and pipe yards + Identify material deployable for projects and provide proper documentation + Maintain an appropriate housekeeping schedule to ensure the warehouse is maintained at the most appropriate, but highest level. + Coordinating and shipping material(s) that are in need of repair. Working with off-site Buyer for assistance on non-inventory PO’s. + Review Obsolete inventory list annually and partner with local operations to get completed. + Operate various forklifts and equipment for the warehouse duties. Responsibility: Procurement Expectations: + Issue Purchase Requisitions to obtain material and services needed to fulfill operational needs + Work with Buyers and Operations to select the best value for projects and inventory + Keep track of expected receipts status and inform operations of any changes that might occur + Enter receipts of received material + Issue Min/Max purchase orders, issue Punchout Agreement purchase orders. + Maintain minimal invoice match holds for invoices related to purchase orders issued. Responsibility: Customer Service Expectations: + Provide dependable and predictable service to the operations, engineering, projects, and supply chain teams + Develop and foster relationships with ONS/RPC Operational Team and Supply Chain Team + Ensure inventory data is accurate and available to Operations and Project groups by maintaining accurate inventory and distributing accurate reports upon request + Maintain a clean and safe warehouse space so that items can be found after hours by non-warehouse personnel + Labeling received material appropriately with Item ID, PM, or Project name of quick identification. + Coordinate deliveries with field personnel to limit shipping costs. + Maintaining supplier relationships and connecting with Operations when appropriate. + Support all internal and external audits.
