CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Scheduler with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

What you’ll get to do:
Design and develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and project schedules using MS Project
Prepares documents, spreadsheets, reports and presentations
Creates and/or maintains appropriate logs, databases, inventories, filing (hard or softcopy), status reports/tracking
Maintain schedules for multiple projects, and sets up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project requirements as scheduled
Work with project teams and operations managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan
Perform analysis on critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around
Conduct analysis to identify risks and scheduling issues and determine courses of actions (COA) to recover slips to the schedules
Obtains required planning and scheduling information from internal and external ITI2.1 Contract stakeholders
Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure understanding of schedule needs
Responsible for leading the integration of project schedule activities
Identifies restraints and their effect on the project schedule
Identifies schedule considerations and challenges resulting from inter discipline or functional restraints and interfaces
Monitors, reviews, and reports critical path and schedule performance
Leads schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine the criticality of scheduled activities
Recommends alternatives for schedule improvement to project teams for discussion and/or decision
Responsible for leading the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including the evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans
Create various reports on project schedule activities and milestones
Work with management team to identify risks that affect project costs, profits, and customer relations
Provides support for research or data analysis tasks
May schedule and arrange travel itineraries
You have:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to:
3-year check for felony convictions
1-year check for illegal drug use
1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
Minimum Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience.
Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VA
You are good at:
Extensive experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing scheduling functions which include planning, critical path analysis, and schedule performance measurement
Must demonstrate good interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Project scheduling software
Advanced level of proficiency in using Project Controls software applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication and time management skills and work ethic; self-starter
Bonus would be having:
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban
Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
Project management experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
