As a Master Production Scheduler at Stanley Black & Decker in Gemonio, you will oversee finished goods production planning to ensure factory schedules align with customer demand. Key responsibilities include managing supply processes to achieve high fill rates (95%+), minimizing backlog, and supporting operational and financial targets through capacity analysis and inventory management. The role requires strong understanding of supply chain complexity and the ability to adjust production to meet customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning
Develop and implement effective production plans that are aligned with the production team to maximize factory efficiencies and labour utilisation in order to meet customer demand.Coordinate and work with production teams to establish and monitor the production schedule in terms of quality, cost and delivery within the operations to ensure 95+% on-time delivery and proactively identify issues.Liaise with the production planner to issue work orders in a timely and accurate manner to the production teams.ERP System Management
Retain in-depth knowledge of production planning within the ERP system (SAP) linked to the planning tool (JDA). Understand the process of loading and changing these systems, recognizing the impact on MPR and Material Planner’s schedules & requirements.Coordinate the link between SAP and JDA to maximize customer service levels, ensuring high fill rates % and supply mix attainment while manage the plan for efficiencies & costs.Reconcile make-to-order and direct delivery requirements in SAP and JDA for customer Demand. Provide feedback to those customers on Inventory, capacity and lead-time.Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the planning systems and processes.Cross- Functional Collaboration, Communication & Coordination
Participate as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions.Maintain open dialogue with other management teams to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity targetsAct as a liaison between material planners, customers, and the production team as well as other departments within the company.Liaise with the planning & supply teams on supply & demand issues related to the factory operationsProblem Resolution & Continuous Improvement
Work directly with factory production and planning teams to resolve scheduling issues.Track, record, and report on plan deviations through root cause analysis to drive improved plan adherence and control.COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related fieldProven experience in Supply Chain or related fieldMust have experience or desire to learn:MS Office Access and Excel, Excel VBA is a plus SAP,PowerBI,Business WarehouseExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and ItalianAbility to meet deadlines.Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiativeAbility to multi task with strong attention to detailWe Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.
