This role plays a significant part in the success of Oracle’s Retail Global Industry Unit (RGIU) across APAC. As a vital member of the APAC Sales Consulting team, you will be responsible for supporting business development and driving successful sales campaigns through your retail industry knowledge and Oracle solution expertise. Additionally, this role offers opportunities to contribute to cross-functional initiatives including Product Strategy, Marketing, Alliances, and Consulting.
Candidate Profile Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field. 10+ years of experience in merchandising, sales consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales within the retail sector. Deep knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandising solutions, including functional and technical capabilities. Knowledge of wider Oracle Retail solutions a plus but not essential. Strong understanding of retail business processes, especially merchandising, inventory, supply chain, and pricing strategies. Mandatory professional level English. Exceptional solution positioning and demonstration skills. Strong teamwork abilities and excellent communication skills. Excellent time management and proactive leadership capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work globally across cultures and in virtual teams. Proven track record in building and maintaining both internal and external relationships. Strong personal drive with a passion for innovation and improvement.Travel & Territory Assignment
While your focus will typically be a subset of the full APAC region, flexibility to support other territories as required is essential. Regular travel may be necessary based on engagement requirements.
