**Job Description**
Working as a Production Planner/Scheduler at BAE Systems Inc. Space and Mission Systems is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-tech team of people developing innovative products for the Aerospace and Defense industry. You will be responsible for developing a multi-year plan that the team must follow to produce the customer deliverable. You will support the Production Centers with development of standard reports and custom reports as needed. This position will work from our Colorado location.
The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
**What You ll Do:**
+ Support weekly Production Center Management presentation and Metric development using schedule data.
+ Work with the Control Account Managers (CAM) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to determine resource needs to support the work.
+ Coordinate with program planning counterpart in the development and implementation of the program baseline to meet the Earned Value Management System Description requirements.
+ Work with CAMs to ensure schedule updates are entered into the production Schedules as provided.
+ Work with Technicians, Responsible Engineers, and the Manufacturing Engineers on the production floor to ensure scheduled work for Programs is being communicated effectively.
+ Develop production-based calendars using schedule data that can be utilized for on the floor forecasting, capacity, and priority decision making provide the program with primary and secondary critical path analysis, variance to baseline analysis, and look-ahead reporting.
+ Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in production schedules.
+ Maintain the integrity of production schedules for audit purposes.
+ Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
+ Work with management to assist in locating and defining new process improvement opportunities.
+ Monitor actual output versus the Program Production Plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions, including a metric on production performance to the requested production schedule.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site three or more days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s degree plus 2 or more years related experience.
+ Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ An understanding of and experience in working with EVMS.
+ Working knowledge of Production Center execution and planning.
+ Support development of production opportunities/risks and their mitigation strategies. Provide inputs to risk manager.

**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
