Job Description:

Your focus will be on overseeing the master planning design process ensuring all spatial layouts, land use, and infrastructure design packages are aligned, coordinated, and delivered to meet client expectations and project requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll lead or support the development and review of the overall master plan, ensuring alignment with client vision, strategic goals, and technical parameters.
You’ll coordinate inputs from urban design, architecture, infrastructure, mobility, sustainability, and environmental disciplines.
You’ll assess land use distribution, development yield, density, phasing, and public realm strategies across the project.
You’ll review and analyze zoning, plot allocation, height controls, setbacks, and urban regulations to optimize the layout.
You’ll liaise with design consultants, authorities, and internal teams to support approvals, updates, and refinements of the master plan.
You’ll ensure the master plan is fully coordinated with engineering and infrastructure networks (utilities, roads, grading, etc.).
You’ll contribute to reports, presentations, and workshops for client and stakeholder engagement.
You’ll help evaluate alternatives and test-fit scenarios to support design and commercial decision-making.
You’ll incorporate sustainable design principles, walkability, accessibility, and cultural context into the planning framework.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in master planning, urban design, or large-scale mixed-use development projects.
Proven experience on complex, high-profile developments—ideally including luxury tourism, or destination-type projects.
Strong understanding of regional planning codes, urban infrastructure coordination, and land use strategies.
Proficiency in planning and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, GIS, and InDesign.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Experience with giga or Vision 2030 programs in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.
Familiarity with digital master planning workflows (GIS, parametric planning tools, BIM integration).
Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Arabic language skills are a plus but not required.
