How will you contribute: 

Engage with stakeholders to understand the business challenge and propose types of solutions (digital or analytical) needed to address the challenge at hand and drives the alignment with the stakeholders on the recommendation. 

Translate the business problem into a mathematical model or an analytical framework that enables insights and business to make data driven decisions. 

Develop optimization and simulation models using sophisticated tools to evaluate what-if scenarios, identify efficiencies in the supply chain network and provide recommendations to stakeholders. 

Owns the execution and sustainability of LTCP process; partners with the cross-pillar stakeholders for the identification of the bottlenecks in the complex supply chain network and recommend short-term as well as long-term strategy.  

Ensures relevant tools (such as “SCI Algorithm”) reflect the aligned strategy. 

Assess the ideas and hypothesis at a strategic level with agility to help leaders prioritize if the ideas required attention for the detailed assessment. 

Partners with planning and business development teams to identify opportunities for short term horizon (IBP) using total delivered cost (TDC) optimization approach.  

Engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders for the development of digital capabilities to provide business acumen, analytical thinking and drive insights. 

Partner within NA S&T team as well as other data and analytics teams (such as Global MSC Strategy team) to gather data, build models, perform analytics, drive insights and provide recommendations to stakeholders. 

Communicates the outcomes of complex analytical models/frameworks to business in a way that’s easy to understand and explains the story 

Support with data and analytics to build business cases for major investments to gain senior leadership approvals. 

Education/Certifications: 

Education: Bachelor’s engineering/science degree at the minimum 

What you will bring:

Minimum 5-6 years of experience in supply chain, strategy and/or operations.  

Proven track record of delivering value using advanced analytics & insights. 

Exposure of end-to-end supply chain across different pillars Manufacturing, Procurement & Logistics. 

Technical Skills:  

Expertise in advanced analytics and modeling highly complex supply chain problems into mathematical models.  

Minimum 3 years of modelling experience using the optimization/simulation tools (such as Llamasoft/SC Guru, Optilogic, Lyric, JDA etc). 

Deep understanding of Operation Research Algorithms and techniques – Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Linear Programming, and Heuristics 

Exposure to ETL tools (such as SQL, Alteryx etc.) for data extractions & transformation 

Exposure to the ERP systems is a plus 

Critical thinking, strong analytical, problem-solving skills. 

Exceptional ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and use models to test and build recommendations  

Soft Skills: 

Ability to think strategically and operate with agility (progress over perfection). 

Effective communication and collaboration skills 

Ability to effectively work and communicate with the technical and business teams from the execution to leadership level. 

Ability to operate with confidence in ambiguous environment and drive alignment with stakeholders. 

Travel requirements: 

Less than 10%

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
