Position Overview

The Master Installation Electrician is a critical technical role responsible for managing complex electrical installation projects, ensuring compliance with national and international electrical standards, and maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute advanced electrical installation projects across various industrial and commercial settings Conduct comprehensive electrical system design and planning Perform detailed technical inspections and compliance assessments Ensure adherence to South African electrical regulations (SANS standards) Manage installation teams and coordinate project resources Develop and implement electrical safety protocols Conduct risk assessments and provide technical recommendations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Advanced Trade Certification Government Certified Master Electrician License.

Technical Skills

Proficient in electrical system design Advanced knowledge of: Low and high voltage installations Industrial electrical systems Renewable energy infrastructure Competent in AutoCAD and electrical design software Understanding of SHEQ.

Certification Requirements

Valid Electrical Installation License Registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) Up-to-date Occupational Health and Safety certification

 

Experience

Minimum 8-10 years of progressive electrical installation experience Proven track record in complex industrial projects

Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Meticulous attention to detail Advanced communication skills
