Working as part of our Microbiology Division (MBD), within the Specialty Diagnostics Group, you’ll play an active part in helping us to achieve our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. The Microbiology Division discovers microbiological solutions for the diagnosis of infectious disease and detection of bacterial contamination. We serve public health, clinical laboratories, food companies, environmental screening and pharmaceutical laboratories with a portfolio of products that include culture media, antimicrobial susceptibility testing solutions and market-leading molecular solutions for food safety testing.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Master Data Analyst to be responsible for driving continuous improvement in our master data and usage of our ERP systems across our global manufacturing and distribution facilities. This will involve both resolving incoming requests for assistance, as well as managing projects to elevate our data quality and support the wider business.
There will be significant collaboration with multi-functional teams to define data requirements, to identify key risks, data gaps, and potential process improvements. Additionally, this role will also serve as an ambassador for the master data function across the business to demonstrate and drive standard processes.
The ideal candidate would have experience in data management within an SAP manufacturing environment, excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, good analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Furthermore, experience in the Winshuttle and Power BI programs would also be beneficial. Finally, as the role is based within the MBD supply chain team, experience within a global supply chain environment is preferable.

Drive towards providing the Microbiology Division with a trusted single version of accurate data to facilitate the best decisions end users can make for the future of the businessAssist in the maintenance and creation of master data relating to both procured and manufactured productsMonitor SAP to ensure consistent data integrityServe as the key escalation point for data queries, and work in partnership with the master data stewards to resolve business requests for data updates &Assist with the resolution of data related issues and queriesRepresent the master data function in key business projects, ensuring any master data considerations are factored into decision makingEnsure that access to data is controlled, adhering to company policies and proceduresEstablish key business relationships to continuously review and refine data requirements needed to meet organisational objectivesMentor Master Data Stewards to improve the overall capabilities of the teamExperience, skills & abilities required:
