Master Data Management (MDM) Functional Lead

CGI is seeking a dynamic and strategic MDM Functional Lead to support a Fusion Program and APS deployment across the U.S. In this role you’ll be at the forefront of harmonizing global and local data strategies and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure master data integrity, drive standardization, and support seamless integration of business processes.

This is a Full Time Employment Opportunity with CGI and is based in Boston, MA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Act as the primary support to the Global MDM Lead for the Fusion program’s and APS deployment on US scope.
• Understand the existing MDM Core Model and be able to present it to the various stakeholders
• Develop a strong understanding of US processes activities (demand and supply planning, external manufacturing) and master data needs within the US.
• Participate in local Boston workshops, working sessions, and business interviews to capture relevant master data requirements.
• Analyze these requirements and assess their compatibility with the global core model defined by the program.
• Propose integration strategies for local business needs into the standardized MDM approach.
• Identify and document gaps or potential deviations from the global model; propose alternative solutions; evaluate their justification with business teams.
• Constructively challenge local stakeholders requesting customizations, ensuring any exceptions are grounded in valid, critical business needs.
• Collaborate with IS/IT, business leads, and solution integrators to ensure proper configuration, data preparation, and testing within the MDM domain.
• Support test case definition and execution related to master data flows, ensuring alignment with business processes.
• Contribute to the preparation of training content, user guides, and key-user enablement in close collaboration with the Change Management team.
• Participate in data migration activities including data cleansing, mapping, and validation for external manufacturing entities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or data-related roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
• Prior exposure to external manufacturing processes is highly valued.
• Prior experience using MDM/ERP systems (is: EBX/SAP).
• Experience working in structured transformation or deployment programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to navigate between global program requirements and local business constraints.
• Analytical and structured thinker with the ability to assess requests critically.
• Collaborative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Stellar communication skills required

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $94,400.00 - $165,200.00.
