Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Master Data Management, this position is part of Hach’s global Master Data Management (MDM) organization. The role plays a key part in building, maintaining, and improving the data foundation that supports our Enterprise Reporting Platform and Data Warehouse.
The Master Data & Governance Analyst focuses on backend data management while also proactively implementing MDM solutions and applying Master Data Governance (MDG) principles. This position ensures that master and reference data from systems such as Oracle Fusion, Agile PLM, and Salesforce CRM are accurate, consistent, and ready for enterprise reporting and analytics across all regions.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Support data design, mapping, and transformation between ERP, PLM, CRM, and the Enterprise Reporting Platform.
+ Perform data validation, consistency checks, and root-cause analysis for master and reference data.
+ Collaborate with global MDM, IT, and regional teams to align master data definitions, standards, and hierarchies.
+ Document system-to-system data flows, mappings, and dependencies to ensure transparency.
+ Implement and maintain data stewardship workflows that engage business users in addressing quality issues and closing data gaps.
+ Create reports and dashboards tracking data quality, governance KPIs, and stewardship progress.
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Extended years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Integration, or Reporting/Data Warehouse environments.
+ Experience with at least one major ERP system - Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) strongly preferred.
+ Familiarity with Agile PLM and Salesforce CRM is a plus.
+ Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data validation/testing methods.
+ Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
