In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, you’ll be right in the middle of the action: you will support our navigated spinal and cranial surgery team in innovative projects, deepen your expertise, and gain practical experience that will help you grow both professionally and personally.

+ We are offering an internship in Interactive Guidance for Navigated Spinal Surgery
+ You will have the opportunity to develop prototypes for our Navigation System and support our team with your proof-of-concept application.
+ You will be an activememberofour international and interdisciplinaryresearch and developmentteam.
+ You will implement your solution using C++ or Python and Matlab and evaluate it in an ecosystem consisting of state-of-the-art navigation and imaging systems.

+ You are studying for a master’s degree in informatics, computer science, medical engineering, mathematics, physics or a comparable subject.
+ You have experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C++), script languages (e.g. Python, Matlab) or libraries (OpenCV, VTK, Qt, DCMTK).
+ You want to tackle challenging problems in medical engineering.
+ Youareknownamongfriends and fellowstudentsforyour initiative and flexibility.
+ Youhave a goodcommandof English.
+ Youworkindependently, arehighlymotivated and committed, and arepreparedtotake on responsibilityquickly.
**Duration of your internship** : 6 months (full-time)
**When you start with us** : March or April 2026
**Where you will work:** Freiburg (Breisgau)
