We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to provide in-home therapeutic care for patients throughout the East Cleveland service area. Using a variety of techniques-including Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, pregnancy/post-partum massage, and other modalities-you will help bring comfort, ease pain, and enhance quality of life for patients, many of whom are receiving hospice care or are bedbound/seated. This role is well-suited for an independent caregiver with experience supporting patients at the end of life, who is comfortable entering home environments and committed to delivering skilled, compassionate care across eastern Cuyahoga County. **This is a PRN position. A caregiver in this role will work between 8:00am and 5:00pm. No weekend requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, stretching, pregnancy/post-partum massage, acupressure, reflexology, and hydrotherapy. + Interview patient to determine medical history, condition, desired results, and appropriate modality. + Apply selected modality, focusing on areas of discomfort. + Monitor patient's responses to treatment and adjust, changes, or terminates treatment based on feedback. + Document patient information, interview responses, treatments, feedback, and results. + Maintain therapy area in a clean, safe, sterile, and Organizational state. + Order supplies, as necessary. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school graduate or equivalent plus Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program + Licensed in Massage Therapy (LMT) by the State of Ohio + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + Minimum one year experience providing massage services or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience + For Hospice staff only: Valid Ohio Driver's License upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter + For Hospice staff only: Proof of automobile insurance coverage with $100,000/$300,000 upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Experience working in the health care field.
