Responsibilities

The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to Rejuvenate Spa patients and guests. Must have thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to learn, train and perform Rejuvenate Spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings. Be friendly, enthusiastic and possess excellent communication skills to provide wellness solutions and deliver superb customer service to all Rejuvenate Spa patients and guests. Be willing to perform special projects as delegated by management.



Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required. Two years’ experience performing massage therapy as a licensed or certified massage therapist is preferred. Post secondary education is preferred. Additional modality training such as; Reflexology, Deep tissue, Sports massage and stone therapy is highly desired. Must be enthusiastic and possess excellent communication skills to provide wellness solutions to patients and guests. Must be adaptive to a changing work environment and effectively interact and communicate with an interdisciplinary team. Flexibility, good organizational skills including ability to delegate, ability to make decisions, ability to work independently and with people of all diversities, artistic and design skills required as well as ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. Patience, sensitivity and confidentiality is essential. Must be able to operate equipment specific to assigned work unit, telephone system, copier, cash register, credit card system, etc.License, Certification, or Diploma from an accredited school for massage therapy and minimum of 500 hours.
