The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day fleet allocation management including allocation of the sub-contractor fleet. To be successful you must have recent experience in the transport industry as an allocator working with palletised freight and have extensive knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan area.
Responsibilities\nDay to day fleet management\nDaily scheduling and coordinating routes/ deliveries \nManaging internal and external stakeholder relationships\nLead and monitor fleet performance focusing on systems, procedures and processes for continuous improvement\nManagement of COR with emphasis on Load Restraint & Fatigue Management\nRequirements\nRecent palletised freight fleet allocations experience\nStrong experience in transport logistics and road fleet management\nExtensive knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan areas\nStrong COR exposure\nAbility to work under stringent time frames and fast paced work environment\nStrong MS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint\nHighly developed written and verbal communication skills\n
